I started out with a vision... It was a journey 10,000 individual photos were taken in 10 sets of photos learning from what each had to offer and growing the scene to what you see now! When reaching attempt 10, I did two different versions.  One with all the photos therefore giving the most detail.  Something was definitely off with that version.  Leaving some off the end gave the image what it needed.  The hummingbird my buddy and former co worker Tony, the kind of guy who drops anything to help you out with the most positive, we can figure this out approach to life! Bringing some new work up to show him one day he looked at this photo and saw it, the hummingbird! I hadn't seen it yet, with Tony finding the magic of the photo first he gets the credit for the title! Without his creative view the hummingbird might have forever remained a leaf of a money tree. The perfect place to sit and have a lunch Enjoy the bird watching or soak in Glass River. No sharp edges on the glass the water has tumbled them all smooth! Climb up the left side rock wall plenty of hand holds to use! Once to the top go ahead and take a jump the water is deep enough! Swim across the river climb out on the rocks. Enjoy the overhanging ledge as the suns rays illuminate the ledge above your head! Where does the path go off to? Not sure thats up to your imagination!  Lastly let your eye climb the right side ledge up into the leaf and ride it down back into the water!! The photo is created from carnelian agates and an agate gathered near Gabbs NV with the help of Luna, Bozo, and fueled with Maverick breakfast burritos we drove the 240 mile round trip and were rewarded with quality finds! The glass in the river was collected from the Glass Beach out in CA. The money tree from IKEA has been in my life for 17 years!     My best friend from Texas who I met by signing her up for new phone service! Best phone call of my life still friends today! We got the tree together! Loads of cherished memories went into the making of this photo!
