Curled Dandelion Stem Over a Geber Daisy
Taking a Dandelion from the yard, peeling a strip, clamping it with a third hand tool, then misting it! Lighting the scene requires the flash to stay behind the water droplet to avoid missing the desired outcome! Thanks to Don Komarechka, I learned a few tricks getting started! This water droplet photo was inspired by Don Komarechka Finding him pushed me quickly and quit happily to diving into macro photography! The movement with the angles and curves gives off a playful feeling! The colors are varying shades of purples and yellows pull me in only leaving me wanting more detail! That desire for more detail is what pushed me to the style!! Look at the center I see what could have been a portal, a seat to sit and take the view in, or even a frog face! Those details where calling to be captured! I would have never gotten to now without the start!
