Varmints bismuth 1/50

Varmints bismuth 1/50

shot in my kitchen sink in a stock pot using cucumbers for the background and support! Using the faucet to control the water speed! The bismuth hot glued to a tequila shot bottle. The bismuth was created by my buddy Varmint! He tells the stories phenomenally! He ordered a small brick of bismuth! The seemingly small package weight way more than the unexpected postman would have realized! It had to be around 10-20 pounds in a package you could easily hold in your hand! He got a good chuckle out of it! Once you open the box a gray brick was inside. The rainbows and the shapes are all done with heat! As you melt the brick of bismuth the colors emerge as you create and shape the mineral! This piece called to me when visiting! Turning the water on a slow trickle not to waste to much water during the 45 minutes shooting the scene! The end result was something for the imagination to run wild with! I see a scene with a crowd of people almost as those a mob is gathering to go and get the ogre! One villager grabbed a pitch fork for the event.

The cucumbers in the background look like a portal to where the other is hanging out. The top of the photo looks like a northern light show. With loads of narratives for the mind to create I hope you find some magic in this stock pot kitchen sink scene!
