The opal couple from my 2024 trip to Royal Peacock Opal Mine in Nevada! Same mistake but not as bad as the first time going. Located in the middle of a collapsed caldera, sits a magical spot well worth the trip! However, you need to arrive prepared or you live off the vending machine food and ice cream bars! Which isn't horrible! They at least have options for people who under estimate the time wanting to stay. In the end it works out!  This is kinda funny to me and wanted to share it as part of the photo information.  I'm currently sitting uploading the photos showing the setup.  It just hit me that I see a man longing for the gaze of the female in the distance. The male with his flashy colors desperatly waits, staring or more longing for a look his way. All this while the female looks uniterestedly away, never to meet eye  contact for fear of intimacy. I collected these opals in 2024 with my wife Krista and dog Bozo. It's crazy how the photos show me something about myself sometimes.  My take away from this, is to be mindful when I catch myself trying despartly for the attention of someone. This one and Old Man of the Glamour Gal Hibuscus, both had messages for me.
